End 2021 two new greenfield geothermal exploration licenses were awarded to Transmark Renewables on the western and eastern margins of the Gediz graben system, one of the most developed geothermal 'hotspots' of Turkey. An extensive exploration program was initiated and will extend into the following three years to unlock ever more green baseload energy in the country.
